Brain Freeze, Award-Winning Board Game for Kids
A super fun kids’ strategy board game that benefits the brain! With exciting back-and-forth action, kids love playing this entertaining strategy game of secret sweet treats! Using strategic thinking, memory, deduction, and logic, kids race to correctly guess the secret sweet treat square that the other player or team has chosen before their square is guessed. When players feel they have figured out the other player’s secret treat square selection, they share their opponent’s chosen treat and flavor/color coordinates. Guess right and win, but guess wrong, and…you’ve got a Brain Freeze!
HOW TO SET UP & PLAY BRAIN FREEZE

STEP 1: GAME SET UPSit across from your opponent and set up your gameboard and privacy shield so the other player can’t see yours. |
STEP 2: TREATS & FLAVORS/COLORSDo you have a favorite sweet treat or flavor/color? The sweet treats to choose from are: Ice Cream Sandwich, Milkshake, Ice Cream Cone, Popsicle, and Snow Cone. |
STEP 3: MARK YOUR SELECTIONSChoose your secret sweet treat from the gameboard then record it on your secrecy shield. There are four secret sweet treat coordinates to write down. Start with noting the letter and number then circle the sweet treat and flavor/color choices. |

STEP 4: START THE GAMEThe objective is to find out information about your opponent’s secret treat secret square. Guess their square by calling out the letter, number, flavor/color, and treat. |
STEP 5: RECORD RESPONSESMark their responses on your gameboard. A “YES” response is given anytime a guess matches any of the called letter, number, flavor/color or treat. A “NO” response means the guess does not match any of the coordinates. |
STEP 6: TAKE TURNSGo back and forth by asking each other questions about your opponent’s sweet treat secret square and keep recording their yes or no responses on your gameboard. |

STEP 7: SOLVE THE SECRETThink you’ve figured it out? Start your turn declaring, “I know what you’re thinking! I’m going to solve your Sweet Treat Secret Square!” Share the coordinates to see if you’re correct. |
STEP 8: GET A BRAIN FREEZE!After announcing your final guess, are you correct? Your opponent will share their secret treat answer from their secrecy shield. Guess right and win, but guess wrong… and you’ve got a Brain Freeze! |
