Komodo Dragon Information:
The Komodo Dragon is a large and fearsome lizard species that can be found in the Indonesian islands. It is the largest living lizard species, growing up to 10 feet in length and weighing over 150 pounds.
The Komodo Dragon’s skin is covered in tough, scaly armor that provides protection from potential predators. They are powerful hunters and are known to take down prey much larger than themselves, including water buffalo and deer. They have serrated teeth that can deliver a venomous bite, which, combined with the bacteria in their saliva, can cause serious infections in their prey.
Despite their fierce reputation, Komodo Dragons are an endangered species due to habitat loss and poaching. Conservation efforts have been put in place to protect their populations and ensure their survival.
